Peer Review Process
Revista DDP evaluates articles submitted in an impersonal and objective manner, without any restrictions related to their ideological bias. The analysis will be made by the Board, based on the opinions of two rapporteurs (who will not be identified). The criteria listed in the journal's writing rules will be used. The articles submitted here will previously be analyzed by the Advisory Board to ascertain the adequacy to our editorial line and the required formal criteria. After all the requirements are met, two teachers will receive the text, which will not contain author identification, to issue opinions approving or disapproving the article, in our form. If one opinion opts for approval and the other for disapproval, a third reviewer will make the final assessment. The article will be sent back to the author to make necessary changes in the event of approval with reservations. In this case, there will also be no identification of the reviewers, and after the correction, the article will be submitted for review again (by the same referees). In the case of failure, the author will receive the article accompanied by the reasons for the rejection, again without identifying the reviewers. If approved by both opinions, the article will be analyzed by the Editorial Board. This may require new changes, so that the text complies with our rules, and will decide which articles will be published in each volume. The criteria used in the analyzes are the thematic adequacy with the journal's editorial line, the present, methodological coherence, originality of the theme or its approach, cohesion and coherence, grammar and bibliographic adequacy.
